ABOUT US / Catalytic Oxidizers

Catalytic Oxidizers
For catalytic oxidizers, Aniwell Corporation has professional team with more than 20 years experiences and technology. We use only construction techniques that are proven by years of equipment operation. Our design for our catalytic oxidizers differs from other manufacturers in that we make the exterior skin out of fully welded plate steel and depend on that skin to seal the unit from leaking. This provides long term benefits including eliminating leaks from interior skins that can cause bypass which lowers the destruction efficiency of the unit and failed compliance. Another benefit of this approach is a unit that lasts longer, holding up to the deterioration caused by thermal expansion and the weather.

Standard to our catalytic oxidizers are the following features:

  • Ceramic interior insulation rated for operating temperatures up to 2300°F mounted to a plate steel exterior skin
  • Fully welded exterior skin with no possibility of leakage
  • Elimination of hot spots on the exterior skin by the use of superior construction techniques
  • Precious metal catalysts to insure high destruction efficiencies over the complete bed life of our catalytic oxidizers
  • Monolith or beaded catalyst designs
  • Fully piped and wired gas trains
  • Complete control panels and electrical components, no hidden costs
  • Variable speed control of the oxidizer fan for multiple process lines
  • Up to a five year warranty is available
  • Destruction efficiency greater than 99%

We can include a wide range of options with our catalytic oxidizers including:

  • Hot or cold side heat exchanger bypasses
  • Installation
  • Installation
  • Secondary heat exchangers or direct feedback systems for waste heat recovery

Aniwell Corporation has manufactured thermal afterburners since its inception. Our thermal afterburner units are used to destroy VOCs in high concentrations, to eliminate visible smoke or to destroy VOCs from processes that are operated intermittently to the point that heat exchangers are not economically feasible.

Standard to our thermal afterburners are the following features:

  • Raw gas burners mounted in the air stream for complete flame contact with the process stream or nozzle burners where oxygen content or high exhaust temperatures eliminate opportunity for raw gas burner use
  • Ceramic block interior insulation mounted to a plate steel exterior skin for thermal oxidizer applications
  • Fully welded stainless steel interior skins in smoke eliminator applications
  • Fully welded exterior skin with no possibility of leakage in high temperature applications
  • Elimination of hot spots on the exterior skin by the use of superior construction techniques
  • Fully piped and wired gas trains
  • Complete control panels and electrical components, no hidden costs
  • Destruction efficiencies of 99% or greater available
  • Up to a five year warranty is available

Optional upgrades include:

  • Waste heat recovery to supply process heat
  • PLC and HMI control system for interconnection to plant DCS
  • Process to oxidizer ductwork
